Building Safety Case Coordinator

Heathgate Search are delighted to partner with a leading Real Estate business to appoint a Building Safety Case Coordinator. This is a full-time, permanent position in Manchester, paying £27,000 - £32,000

You will be joining a fantastic organisation and be required to:

• Assist the Building Safety Case Manager to develop, manage and maintain a body of safety-related information, which will form the Safety Case, as required by The Building Safety Act 2022, for all higher risk buildings (HRBs)
• Manage the existing Golden Thread of information and source additional information, which will assist the Building Safety Case Manager to draft the associated Safety Case Report.
• Register all building in scope of the Building Safety Act 2022 with the Building Safety Regulator on behalf of the Principal Accountable Person
• Coordinate the submission of the Building Assessment Certificate application with the Resident Engagement Team.
• Identify gaps in available information, instruct surveys and reports to ensure that the necessary information is available, to demonstrate that major hazards related to fire and structural safety are being managed effectively, therefore reducing the likelihood of major incidents.
• Prioritise workload, meet deadlines and build effective relationships with stakeholders, the fire service and the building safety regulator

Ideally, you will have previous experience in Health and Safety, Facilities Management, Housing, Compliance, Construction, Building Maintenance, Asset Management or Data Analytics.

Ideally, you will be working towards or have the following qualifications/memberships (NEBOSH General, NEBOSH Fire, IOSH, IFE, IFSM, CIOB, RICS, CIH or similar)
