Part-time Health and Safety Manager

Heathgate Search are delighted to partner with a fantastic Charity in Hertfordshire to appoint a part time Health and Safety Manager. This is a hybrid role where your time will be split between working at the office in St Albans, working from home and travelling to sites.

The hours for this role are 22.5 hours however there is flexibility to increase or reduce the hours. The Full time equivalent for this salary is £34,500 and this will be pro-rated depending on the hours you work.

Responsibilities:

• Promote a positive Health, Safety and Wellbeing Culture
• Provide competent Health and Safety advice and guidance
• Develop and implement Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Conduct risk assessments, safety audits and train staff
• Investigate incidents and accidents, maintain health and safety documentation and support events
• Drive wellbeing initiatives, manage contractors and ensure all facilities across the group are compliant with health and safety laws

Experience:

• A level 3 or level 6 Health and Safety qualification
• A fantastic attitude with great communication/interpersonal skills
• Highly organised, consultative and solutions focused
